Well, it was a beautiful day spent here in Northern New England. Mid 70′s, breezy, not a cloud in the sky, and the sun was absolutely wonderful. I’ll spare you the details, but we went for a ride to about an hour away to check out a clothing store and the “deals” they had. Needless to say, Dad was able to find some good things, and I picked up a colorful long summer dress.

I don’t know why, but long dresses are my thing. Before I lost all the weight I did, I had positively awful stretch marks on the backs of my knees. It’s been years since they faded, but I still feel like they’re there, and I hate showing off my legs as a result. I’ve been gaining some confidence back, now that I know I can’t see them… At least not physically. I have picked up a few shorter dresses, but my favorites are still long ones. And since I’m so short, they usually hit my ankles or lower, which I love! I can tuck my toes under the edges of my dress and not worry about how high my dress is.When I woke up this morning though, I noticed I had one mother of a bruise on my left arm, and I have no idea where it came from. No clue. I don’t remember bumping into anything, falling, nada. It’s just appeared out of thin air. Anywho, I decided since it was going to be a bright day, I’d put on some bright eyes.
On my Face:
Arran Aromatics Moisturizing Cream
Nyx Correctors in Lavender, Green & Yellow
Nyx Concealer in Porcelain
Meow Cosmetics Purr-fect Puss Foundation in Siamese- Inquisitive
Physicians Formula Illuminating Blush in Vintage Rose
Darling Girl Cosmetics Lippie in So Sakura
On my Eyes:
My Beauty Addiction’s Shadow-Poxy Eye Primer
Moi Minerals Colors:
Psycho- On lid area only
Amethyst Lights- In crease, blended upwards and lightened, darkened in crease. I brushed a little bit onto the outer 1/4 of my eye lid and mixed with Psycho
Craze- Inner 1/3 of eye applied above crease
Physicians Formula Eye Marker Pen in Ultrablack on upper lid
Wet ‘n Wild Coloricon Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Black on lower waterline
Mercy- Applied to lower waterline, and over black eyeliner on upper lid
Shimmers & Pearls- Applied to brow bone
Two coats of Wet ‘n Wild MegaPlump Mascara finished off the look after I curled my lashes. And it’s that easy! Mercy really pumps this look up because of the color shifts it has- purple, blue, blurple, shimmers, sparks. If there’s one color you need to have in your collection of Moi’s colors… It’s Mercy!
Don’t be afraid to play with brights- they work! And with green eyes, this would be absolutely stunning!
