Well, I had hoped to get this up earlier today, but I forgot I had to go to the orthodontist today…. And then errands were run, then my sister treated me to Thai for lunch. NOM! I adore Thai food! Once we got home, I took a much needed nap.
Anywho, this was my look for Independence Day on July 4th.
I took my inspiration from Be Glamorous By Lindsay- because when I saw her patriotic look, I knew I had to do it myself!! I thought it was so creative I couldn’t pass it up. I not only like to inspire people to re-create my own looks… But also feel it’s important to re-create others as well! And I find it’s quite flattering- especially seeing small variations on how applications are done. Needless to say, this was a very glittery, sparkling look for the day. I applied it about 8 am, retouched some of the white and red glitter parts about mid-afternoon, and didn’t wash it off until after midnight. Yes- it was well worn… And pretty much lasted the entire day without problems! In the morning, I used a little too much red glitter so it mixed in with the white…. But I managed to correct it when we got home for a break. Towards the end of the night, it did start to mix and mingle and smudge a bit- the white and reds together made pink… But it was only noticeable when I closed my eyes completely. Besides- it was dark by then, and nobody could see details!
I think for as long as I can pull it off, this will be my look for the 4th for years to come! Unless, of course, I decide to vary it. But what can I say… I was totally in love with this look! I’ll put up the pictures of my eye close-ups tomorrow :)
