Absentee from the blog, and my sincerest apologies. I am alive, I am ok, I will be getting back to posting regularly! This upcoming week, I have a few things scheduled and I’m determined to get it done!
I know it seems like I dropped off the face of the planet- but there was good reason. I’ve shared with some of you why I’ve gone almost completely radio silent due to a family emergency situation. You’ll be pleased to know that not only is everything now ok, but we have said family member home finally and resting comfortably! I didn’t quite expect things to go from being absolutely wonderful while staying with my Pirate, to being absolute chaos here at my other home. Yep… I dropped off the map because it was the easiest way for me to cope with all the stress and worry which had suddenly sprung up. The thing which matters most though is that everyone is ok, things are getting back to normal… And it’s time to start thinking about Halloween looks! Yay!
Halloween, as many of you know, is my favorite time of year. I get to go completely wild and outlandish, garish and over-the-top with makeup and not feel guilty about it! If there’s a special look you’d like to see, leave me a comment below and I’ll try my best to get a bunch of tutorials done between now and All Hallows Eve! I can’t believe it’s only next month- it’s ridiculous how quickly time passes!
I have great news- my braces on my bottom teeth are coming off next month! That’s right- they’re done! Now I’m just waiting for my canine on the top right to come down into place… Yeah, that’s the gap I have. It’s slowly making its way down, but it’s sure taking its time. Figures. In a few weeks, I go to have impressions of my teeth taken, and then I go back mid-October to get my retainer for them! Exciting!! Well, for me it is! It’s going to be nice when I can smile and not have a gap up front- everyone assumes I’m missing the tooth, but I’m not. You can kind of see a little nub where the point of the tooth is moving down into place. Yep- surgery last year exposed the little jerk in the roof of my mouth, and it’s come quite a ways already… I just need it to hurry up and finish!
I’ve certainly missed everyone- and I look forward to catching up with all social media outlets as fast as I can… Which is kind of slow! LOL
