While December has been an absolutely chaotic month for me, I’ve finally got the chance to post my Christmas Day look for you! I decided to go with a simple, easy smoky eye look with a daring and bold lip. I think by now, you’ve all realized that I absolutely adore red lippies (or strange colored ones, more on that to come!) and I knew I’d have to keep my eyes pretty but not overdone.
And yes, I had my blinky-red-nose on for a short period of time on Christmas Day! What I didn’t don, however, was my jingly elf hat. That made me a bit sad.
The dinner was fun, there were a lot of people who showed up, and I saw quite a few kids attend this year which really excited me. Mom and I kept the desserts table manned by cutting the pies and getting them ready to go on plates- either for take-outs, meals-on-wheels, or just to enjoy at the Brown Church! It’s just a simple dinner that the American Legion puts together each year in which myself and my family have done for years and years. It’s good to give back to the community- and this is one way I do just that during the year :)
On my Eyes:
My Beauty Addiction Shadow-Poxy Eye Primer
Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy on lid only
Sugarpill Cosmetics:
Goldilux on lid, PE applied over it, and Goldilux applied again (after brown was added to crease)
Lumi on brow bone
Tiara tucked under lower lash line
Aromaleigh Oops! color in glittery brown applied to crease, blended out, then darkened in crease to add dimension
e.l.f. Studio Creme Eyeliner in Black
Wet ‘n Wild MegaPlump Mascara in Black
Cheeks:
Fyrinnae Glow Blush in Enrapture
Lips:
Random red lip liner pencil
Morgana Cryptoria Creme Lipstick in Very Cherry
MC Lip Gloss in Fangtastic over Very Cherry in center of lips
And there you go- my fierce, flirty, fun Christmas Day look! I think my pearl strand set off the red of my lips- which matched my red top perfectly- and was the perfect accessory for my outfit. Otherwise, it was jeans and sneaks for me! Comfort is key!!
As far as presents went, I got some pretty awesome ones- the Scaredy Cat Cosmetics Family Jewels pressed palette, BH Cosmetics 3rd Edition 120 palette, an awesome ruffly scarf, a bead for my Pandora/Chamilia bracelet, a funky necklace, a zen-bride kit (I’m gonna need that bitch), Pinnacle Whipped Vodka (mix with orange soda and ice- Creamsicles!), and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo book from my fiance.
I’m devouring that currently…
Happy New Year everyone!
